40 year old female preop and 3 months postop VASER Hi Def Lipo 360 and a full tummy tuck. The patient desired a low tummy tuck incision, which most plastic surgeons do not do. A scarred belly button detracts even from a great tummy tuck, if the patient is self conscious about the scar and the pulled down location. An umbilicus floated too low or pulled too low gives an aesthetically poor result and creates an older looking abdomen. For most surgeons, a tummy tuck is the main operation with limited liposuction. I believe in three dimensional body rejuvenation or sculpting, and a tummy tuck is part of my Total Definer approach to body sculpting.
